THE STORY
In 1973, the small town of Newmarket in New Hampshire played host to the birth of an American legend. Created by Sidney Swartz with the “working man” in mind, the iconic Timberland® 6-inch boot was one of the first waterproof leather boots of its kind. It became an instant classic and has since been embraced as a style icon by numerous scenes around the world.

HONEY LUG SOLES
Built to last, the thick rubber lug outsole steadies the tread with reliable gripping power.
- The padded collar is double-foam padded and nylon reinforced to cushion a snug and comfy ankle
- The classic boot laces are made of 100% recycled nylon and have been re-engineered to stay tied
- Comes with a second pair of laces for style variety
- 400 grams of PrimaLoft® insulation provides essential protection against the cold

WATERPROOF
Fully seam-sealed and made of specially treated fabrics, this garment protects in wet, rainy conditions.
CERTIFIED TANNERY
One or more major components use at least 50% leather tanned in a facility rated Silver or higher by a third–party environmental audit. The Leather Working Group judges and classifies tanneries based on energy use, waste production and water treatment.
PRIMALOFT® ECO INSULATION
PrimaLoft® ECO insulation is crafted from synthetic fibers including a minimum of 50% PET (from recycled plastic bottles) that form a dynamic insulation structure. These compression–resistant fabrics maintain loft and retain warmth, even when wet.
ANTI–FATIGUE TECHNOLOGY
Made specifically for people who spend long days on their feet, our exclusive anti–fatigue technology is built into the midsole and uses geometric cone support to provide exceptional standing comfort, shock absorption and energy return all day.
