Loake Eton

"I've been wearing Loake shoes for nearly 40 years; size 9 F fitting. Always been very pleased with them, and they have fitted well and broken in very quickly. I bought a pair of these Eton loafers in black leather a few years ago and they took some time to break in and have always been a tad smaller than all other Loake size 9s. I assumed it was a one off. However, these suede ones are the same - taking ages to break in and a bit tight. I don't have any issue with 9 Fs in equivalent loafers from Loake's direct competitors. These are a nice shoe, and I would recommend. BUT, I strongly advise you buy a half size up in the Eton's. Easier to wear a thicker sock if a tad lose than to shave off parts of your foot!"
