This women’s almost flat, lace-up boot is part of the new Lotus range of waterproof boots so it boasts a water repellent upper, a fully waterproof membrane, a bellowed tongue that prevents water ingress from the sides, taped seams that stop water penetrating the stitching and a zip gusset that gives an additional moisture barrier. Taking styling references from a walking boot, this ladies’ black ankle boot encompasses hiker laces, metal eyelets, an external zip, a knitted ankle collar and a cleated sole that offers excellent support and traction.
